Kite Plane and Jive

Here we have two lovely red planes called "Kite Plane" (the one shaped like a kite) and "Jive" (the other one). I flew them both in the same direction to see which flew further, and Jive definetely won. Kite Plane did kind of a loop-de-loop and ended at my feet. Jive made it across the room.

Beeline!

Here's a lovely patriotic fellow called "Beeline". When I threw him, that's exactly what he did, beelined straight into the floor. But at least it looks cool.

Wide Wing Glider

Here's a lovely guy called the "Wide Wing Glider". It's a fun one, but I don't like how yesterday's instructions are showing on the top. Oh well, it flies pretty well. Enjoy!

Jazz, Square Wing, Simple Simon

Here are the planes from this weekend (that's right, I'm still caught up because I have Mondays off over the summer.) We have Jazz (you can tell which one that is because of the trumpets on the wings), Square Wing (you can tell which one that is because, well, it has square wings (duh)), and Simple Simon (the one left over). As you can tell, I'm using too many parenthis (shut up Kara), so here are the planes:

Wildcat F4F

Well happy Friday everyone. Here's a lovely puke-colored Wildcat F4F for your enjoyment. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Zoom

So we were talking today (after visiting http://www.wherethehellismatt.com/) about how cool it would be to take my airplanes all over the world and take pictures of them in cool places like Paris or London. I thought about super-imposing my planes onto pictures of famous places, but it just wouldn't be the same. Besides, I am not fake. So all I need is a sponsor (perhaps a major airline?), and I'll take my planes all over the world and take pictures of them. Could you imagine launching one of Eric's Planes off the Eiffel Tower? I think it would be awesome. And a great marketing scheme for Delta (hint hint). But anyway, back here in reality, here's nifty little plane called "Zoom" which does a nice little slow spin while flying and still seems to land right-side up. Enjoy.

Flying Fish

This is one of the planes that looks cooler from the bottom, so the picture's not too great. But we're back to one-plane posts, which is kind of exciting (or boring). He actually flies pretty well, which is always a nice touch.

Flying Wing and Predator

I know, I know, it's all boring now that I'm only doing one or two planes a day, but you guys were the ones complaining about the increasing lack of frequency of my posts, so this is what you get. You can't have your cake and eat it too you know. Anyway. I hope everyone had a good fourth-of-July-weekend, here's a couple of planes to keep you interested. We have another Flying Wing (by far the lamest plane featured on Eric's Planes) and a new Predator, which is far from scary. But I hope you enjoy them.

100th Post!!! (Wa-Hoo)

And...we're all caught up. Ahead, in fact, since I did one for the weekend, since I'll be gone for a few days. Here's the most recent six:Some classic ones...I always love the airliners, and the flying boxcar (bottom row middle) is always fun too. I will be back on Tuesday with more (hopefully), so everyone have a good 4th of July weekend!

Three Planes!!!

We're really almost caught up now, here are the planes for this past weekend. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do...

A Whole Lotta Planes

I had so many planes to share with you all today that I had to put them on the floor instead of the desk. I'd count them, but apparently you guys are better counters than I am, so I'll just let you do it. I was way behind, and now I'm almost caught up (only 2 behind). I'll try and get caught up on Monday.

6 Planes!!!

I know, I know, I should really break these up into separate posts. Or at least separate photos. But I'm just too lazy OK!?! Leave me alone! Anyway. Here's 6 planes to get me closer to being caught up. I hope you enjoy them all.

Three More

Well...I'm trying to get caught up. I'm going to be gone for the next 4 days though, so I'm just going to get behind again, but we'll see what we can do. We have some fun planes today. The starship is always one of my favorites, so I put a picture (below) of a "real" starship that I found online. I know, I know, mine is cooler. Just don't tell that to the people of Naboo.

Lotsa Planes (One Picture)

Well, sorry it's been so long since my last plane, we're doing end-of-year stuff at work, and it's been kinda crazy. But I did get a new webcam, so I decided to take pictures of all four planes at once. I tried to find real plane pictures, but didn't have too much luck. I googled Beeline (the one on the far left) and 3 of the first 6 pictures were from Eric's planes, so I felt pretty good about that. Anyway...enjoy!

Jazz

All that "Jazz"! Yep, it's called Jazz. For no apparent reason. But I did find a real plane called "Jazz", which I'm sure looks exactly like mine would if mine were hooked up to a terminal.

Wildcat F4F

Here we have a fun square-ish guy called the Wildcat F4F. I downloaded a picture of a real wildcat f4f, and they surprisingly don't even look close to similar, so I don't know what happened there. But enjoy!

Zoom

This guy here is called "Zoom", I have no idea why. But below is a real plane called Zoom (see, it's writted all over it.) Or maybe that's the name of the airline...hmmm.

Flying Fish

Here we have a weird little plane called "Flying Fish", which is kind of creepy looking. I couldn't find any real planes that looked like it, so I just put a picture of a real flying fish, which looks way cooler than the plane. Enjoy!

Predator

This airplane is called "Predator" (I know...very scary!) Below is it's real-life equivalent, which doesn't really look the same, but does look much scarier. Enjoy!

Flying Wing

Here we have a fun (and by fun, I mean really lame) plane called the "Flying Wing". It's very easy to build (about 4 folds) and doesn't fly very well. I tried to find a real plane that looked like a wing, with little luck...but here's what I found:

Catch It!

Well, I apologize for the long delay in planes, the 3-day weekend last week made for a busier week at work this week. But we're back (hopefully), with a lovely looking green-ish plane called "Catch It!" (yep, that's really what it's called). I tried, and it's no easier to catch than any of the other planes, so it's kind of misleading. Oh well...enjoy.

Flying Boxcar

This is the C-119 Flying Boxcar, which apparently was a real plane, although the real one looks significantly different than mine. But either way, it's pretty cool. And it flies surprisingly smooth for how many folds it took. Enjoy!

Sideslip (Camo Version)

Here we have the "Sideslip", whatever that means. I couldn't find a good sideslip-like plane, so I found a camo one instead (if you can see it...) Enjoy.

Airliner CRJ700

Here's another airliner, called the US West CRJ700. I was able to find one that looked quite similare (except the US West part). I'm sure the real one flies much better what with the jet engines and such. But mine was way cheaper. Enjoy.

Zach's Plane

We have a brand new feature here on Eric's Planes called Zach's planes. My 5-year-old son, Zach, got a paper airplane book from his Auntie RaRa and we've been making them. He loves making them, especially the taping and cutting parts. They're very fun. Below is one called "Flying Saucer", and it's very scary (because of the giant spider on top!) Enjoy, and watch for more!
